Skaday is a 6 piece all chick ska/punk band based in Christchurch.  Zaneta, Sarah and Shohan met in 2001 while completing the Certificate in Contempary Music and Ministy at Integrity School of Music.  It was there that the idea of starting a ska/punk band came about after inspiration from other ska bands.  Nat, who was a good friend, was as keen as us!  A top singer and front person, with whom we had spent many weekends jamming at our flat.  We met Rach at Parachute 02, she also was really into ska.  Helena whom we met through a friend is our newest member-busting out on the trumpet!
